In this project the kitchen was tight and not very functional, so we opened up the area by eliminating the peninsula and adding an island with seating. We choose sage colored cabinets that go to the ceiling for maximum storage, island storage and a wine cabinet next to the pantry cabinet. We made custom quartz countertops and classic whit sub way tile for the backsplash. By installing recessed can lighting, adding a garden window and skylight this kitchen is now nice and bright with naturel daylight.

This was an older home in Chicago and the owners wanted an updated kitchen with more storage. We went with beautiful navy thirty-six inch & nine inch cabinets with glass doors to give more storage, the gold hardware that was chosen for the cabinetry really brings out the elegance to the navy color. Custom quartz countertops, white hexagon backsplash tile and recessed lighting pulls everything together.

As you can see in the before pictures this kitchen was outdated, dark and needed help. We wanted to create an open floor plan for this home and in order to accomplish this we removed the living room archway wall and the kitchen/ dinning room wall. We took out the old lighting fixtures and installed dimmable recessed can lighting throughout the ceiling to brighten this new space up. The continuous flooring really emphasizes how large this open concept is. Custom made cabinets are a white shaker style with an oversized eat at island done in a rich charcoal color, the island really compliments the black window, faucet and cabinet hardware. Here the countertops are a white quartz with gray veining, the backsplash is a white subway tile and under cabinet lights where added. We carried the white theme for a coffee station also to the front entrance way for coats, shoes and more storage. What an incredible difference!

This classic white, gray and black kitchen is now so bright and spacious compared to the way it look before with small dark cabinets and bad fluorescent lighting. During the demo we removed the soffit and wall to open it up to the living room, once that was done we installed new recessed can lighting and gray plank flooring throughout. We designed the kitchen with a peninsula that includes a slide in stainless range, hanging exhaust hood and two pendant lights, along with clean white cabinets, large white subway tile, under cabinet lights, custom made quartz countertop with large sink, black faucet and black hardware. This converted this kitchen to a great culinary and entertainment area!

This kitchen needed a complete makeover as you can see in the before pictures. We started talking about the project and decided what would really improve this space was to create an open concept floor plan. We did this by removing the living room wall including part of the dinning room wall.  An oversized eat-in kitchen island was made with a large sink, dishwasher and storage on both sides. Opposite the island there now is the perfect prep work counter including a microwave shelf and lighted glass door cabinets above. We installed custom made gray shaker style cabinets, under cabinet lighting, white and gray quartz countertops, recessed lighting and multi colored gray plank flooring throughout, that truly pulled this project together for a great flow and accomplished exactly what our client wanted.

Kitchen Hanson

As you can see in the before pictures this kitchen was outdated and had poor storage with different color flooring. We redesigned the layout of this kitchen by moving the oversized refrigerator to a different wall so the cooking area now has a straight line with no obstructions. The kitchen already had high ceilings but wasn’t being utilized due to a soffit, so custom 48″ and a 12″ white shaker cabinets were made and stacked together.  Where the kitchen table once was is now an extra large walk-in butler pantry with five panel glass doors and recessed cabinets above them. On the opposite end of the kitchen a newly built elevated banquette with upholstered seats and backrest. Large gray floor tiles were installed producing a wonderful flow. What an incredible new kitchen!

This kitchen was a nice size but needed an makeover. We began by opening the wall between the kitchen and living room, eliminating the soffits, removing the island, old cabinets and ceiling fan. Once that was done we started updating the lighting with dimmable recessed can lights and installed a custom island with slide-in range, matching stainless steel range hood. White shaker style cabinets were added throughout the kitchen along with black quartz countertop and undercabinet lighting to show off the mosaic backsplash tile.

This bright kitchen was done in a gray shaker style cabinets were we added smaller cabinets with glass doors stacked above them. We made a recessed white shaker cabinet for the space next to the refrigerator with a matching large free standing pantry by the windows. We also created cabinets around the eating area and covered them with custom made quartz top that’s the same as the countertops. The backsplash is a beautiful gray glass subway tile and has under cabinets lights that gives this kitchen a nice clean look.
