The first photos show the radiator
in the wall dividing the dark cramped foyer and hallway from the
main living area in this 100 year old Hyde Park Graystone. We removed
the radiator, wall, plumbing and redirected electric. After restoring
the oak floors we installed new drywall to the support posts and
wrapped them with oak, stained to match staircase. The end result
was a bright open hall and foyer with great sight lines.
