The
original
kitchen was cramped and lacking any working space. We removed the
wall between the kitchen and living room and installed the island
to open up the entire area. Maple flooring was installed throughout
both rooms for continuity. Custom 42" wall cabinets, built in
refrigerator and pantry maximized storage and efficiency. We installed
the island with extended granite top to double the area from workspace
to dining area and create bar seating. Dimmer controlled under cabinet
and recessed
ceiling fixture lighting created a very warm environment. |
